The Sony VAIO VGN-T130FP is an older laptop, and plenty of them are still in daily use. We repair them at our London workshop for home users and businesses, and for customers across the UK by pickup or post.
The faults we see most on machines like this are power and charging problems, failed hard drives, damaged screens and hinges, and overheating. Software trouble is just as common: Windows that won't load, viruses, and laptops that have slowed to a crawl.
- Overheating, fan and cleaning service
- Hinges, casing and cosmetic repair
- Windows repair, virus and malware removal
- Battery replacement
- Screen and backlight repair
- Keyboard and trackpad replacement
- Power socket and charging faults
- Motherboard repair at component level
The first step is a tear-down assessment at £45 + VAT, where we open the laptop up and trace the fault. After that we quote, so you know the cost before deciding. Replacement parts we fit carry a one-year warranty. On an older machine, the quote lets you decide whether the repair is worth doing.
