We repair the Sony VAIO VGN-SZ140PB at component level, which matters on an older machine where whole replacement boards are no longer easy to come by.
Whether it's a hardware fault such as a dead screen, a broken hinge or a clicking drive, or a software one such as a virus or a Windows error, we start by finding the actual cause.
- Hinges, casing and cosmetic repair
- Windows repair, virus and malware removal
- Battery replacement
- Screen and backlight repair
- Keyboard and trackpad replacement
- Power socket and charging faults
- Motherboard repair at component level
- Hard drive, SSD and memory upgrades
Every repair starts with a £45 + VAT assessment. We strip the laptop down and troubleshoot it at the bench, which takes time, and then quote before any chargeable work goes ahead. On an older machine, the quote lets you decide whether the repair is worth doing.
