Still running a HP Pavilion dv1220EA Notebook PC? We repair them. Bring it to the workshop in London SE1, book a pickup, or post it to us from anywhere in the UK.
Screens, keyboards, power sockets, hard drives, fans and hinges are the parts that wear out first on an older laptop, and all of them can be repaired or replaced. Where the fault is on the motherboard itself, we repair it at component level.
- Keyboard and trackpad replacement
- Power socket and charging faults
- Motherboard repair at component level
- Hard drive, SSD and memory upgrades
- Data recovery from failed drives
- Overheating, fan and cleaning service
- Hinges, casing and cosmetic repair
- Windows repair, virus and malware removal
We begin with an assessment, which costs £45 + VAT. It is a proper tear-down and bench diagnosis rather than a quick look, so it takes time. You then get a quote, and nothing chargeable is done until you agree to it. If the repair turns out not to make sense for a laptop of this age, you'll know that from the quote before you commit to anything.
