The HP Pavilion dv1159EA Notebook PC is an older laptop, and plenty of them are still in daily use. We repair them at our London workshop for home users and businesses, and for customers across the UK by pickup or post.
Typical jobs on a laptop of this age are a dim or cracked screen, a worn keyboard, a loose power socket, a failing hard drive and overheating from a clogged fan. We also deal with Windows problems, viruses and machines that have become too slow to use.
- Hard drive, SSD and memory upgrades
- Data recovery from failed drives
- Overheating, fan and cleaning service
- Hinges, casing and cosmetic repair
- Windows repair, virus and malware removal
- Battery replacement
- Screen and backlight repair
- Keyboard and trackpad replacement
Every repair starts with a £45 + VAT assessment. We strip the laptop down and troubleshoot it at the bench, which takes time, and then quote before any chargeable work goes ahead. If the repair turns out not to make sense for a laptop of this age, you'll know that from the quote before you commit to anything.
