We begin with an assessment, which costs £45 + VAT. It is a proper tear-down and bench diagnosis rather than a quick look, so it takes time. You then get a quote, and nothing chargeable is done until you agree to it. On an older machine, the quote lets you decide whether the repair is worth doing.
